Contributing towards humanity at large
I am 58 year old male(Retired)I have inguinal Hernia(Left 37 mm and right 31mmResults as per recent sonography) for last 3 years.I do not have pain,burning or acid re flux usually associated with Hernia.(I am wearing hernia support belt) I am willing to look into options other than surgery as there is no physical discomfort. one Unani practitioner has claimed that he can cure Hernia without surgery.But all other Unani doctors/hakims are not positive.Can Unani medicines really cure Inguinal hernia?I am seeking opinions/experiences of persons who have tried Unani medicines to cure Inguinal hernia.or Unani medicines practioners or other alternative medicines who have treated cases of Inguinal herniaAyurveda has cure for Hernia.Many Ayurveda pharmacies make it. It contains combination of several Ayurveda Bhasma.If any Unani medicine can help in healing cuts made by surgeons faster may also help in Hernia Because Hernia is primarily caused by tear of some(NOT ALL LAYERS AS IS THE CASE IN SURGERY) layers of skin and this tear is furtheraggrevated by gas,constipation etc and it results in Hernia.Unani system has very good medicines for gas/constipation,(WHich is one of the causes of Hernia)If this aspect(gas) is taken care of another aspect i.e. Healing of wound/cut/rupture remains to be taken care of.I think any oral medicine which promotes new skin cell generation or healing of wounds or for faster post operative healing of cuts made during surgery may also be effective.Since Unani system has scope for surgery,medicines prescribed post unani surgery may help.Pl. opine
